Are nuts and seeds really necessary in a raw diet of all fruits and vegetables? Can people thrive indefinetly on 4-5% total daily fat intake? It does not seem natural to have to soak and sprout nuts just to be able to digest them?

Greens are the most nutritious food on the planet. I would think that if you are consuming large amounts of organic greens you will be getting sufficient nutrients. Everyones body is different when it comes to fat and dairy intake, some people need more than others

I usually add about 1 -2 cups of water. It depends on what sort of texture you desire.

I tried carrot and apple but there are too much fibre that makes the smoothie not too nice to drink. Mango, bananas, pineapple does a better job! I just tried making it with coconut water and flesh and the consistency of the smoothie is great! Try it.

I have been making green smoothies for about 10 months and love them. I was wondering if I can use Rue, Lavendar, Lemon Balm and Sage in my green smoothies as the greens alone, several handfuls. Or do I only add them as a flavor, a couple of leaves? I don’t know much about Rue so not really sure what to do with it. Would appreciate any advice. Thanks

I think it gets bitter when it goes to seed. It has been so hot here and many of my greens are “bolting” too.
