Hi there

I’m totally new to this but just wondering if anyone else out there is fructose intolerant and if you can advise on any recipes?

Thanks in anticipation.

yeah i used to have fructose intolerance as a child. i would have meat and 3 veg meal and then some watermelon on top and then get bad stomach cramping! :)

is it the fructose or is it the stuff that its reacting with?

ive read thru a lot of fructose intolerance studies and none of them have been done on someone doing a mono week of bananas or fruit based green smoothies. zero. they are all done using genetically modified high fructose corn syrup….

i had the worst digestion. chrons, celiacs etc. now i eat up to 70 bananas a day here in byron bay. one dude i was mentored had chrons so bad they put him on chemo. he went down to 38kg. then he got in contact with me and i told him that if we wants to live then only eat his fav sweet fruits and tender greens. he didnt listen at the start but when the pain got to great from the other foods, his body took over and demanded the best. the only thing he can eat now is green smoothies of sweet fruit blended with tender greens like celery, iceberg lettuce, babe spinach. he has put on 12kg of mass in the form of muscle, glycogen and hydration and got his life back.

do a month of just tender greens blended with your fav sweet ripe fruits. NOTHING ELSE but water, sun n fun.

test ride.
then decide.
:)

i eat up to 70 bananas a day. im a 24hr solo mountain bike racer, raw coach, marathon runner and ive cycle toured all over the world as a raw vegan. my dad is half bonobo.

also won the world durian speed eating championships in chantaburi in 2005 and 2007 :)

I usually add about 1 -2 cups of water. It depends on what sort of texture you desire.

I tried carrot and apple but there are too much fibre that makes the smoothie not too nice to drink. Mango, bananas, pineapple does a better job! I just tried making it with coconut water and flesh and the consistency of the smoothie is great! Try it.

I have been making green smoothies for about 10 months and love them. I was wondering if I can use Rue, Lavendar, Lemon Balm and Sage in my green smoothies as the greens alone, several handfuls. Or do I only add them as a flavor, a couple of leaves? I don’t know much about Rue so not really sure what to do with it. Would appreciate any advice. Thanks

    Hi,
I am looking for the name of the “traveling” blender that Victoria used in her travels.. I will be traveling and want to purchase one for the road.
    thank you much..

I think it gets bitter when it goes to seed. It has been so hot here and many of my greens are “bolting” too.

I was responding to another post about spinach going to seed.
